Every year, Bowdoin welcomes back nearly 2000 alumni and guests for Reunion Weekend. This is a four-day celebration of Polar Bear traditions and connections throughout the generations. Attendees enjoy reconnecting with one another, revisiting favorite places and people on campus and reliving their Bowdoin days. Reunion Student Ambassadors play a key role in the facilitation and success of the weekend. The Office of Alumni Relations hires over 80 students to work Reunion Weekend.
Reunion Student Ambassadors are required to be available and on campus from Wednesday, May 30 through Sunday, June 3. This includes one day of training and four-day Reunion Weekend . Meals, t-shirts and on-campus housing are provided. Housing should be arranged through the Office of Residential Life interim housing process which will begin after Spring Break 2018.
