Student Ambassadors

Reunion Weekend has programming for affinities including LGBTQ+ alumni, Bowdoin RepresentASIAN, Bowdoin College Black Alumni Association (BCBAA), and the Association of Bowdoin Latinx Alumni (ABLA). We aim to pair Reunion Student Ambassadors with shared interests and experiences with these special programs.

Student Ambassadors help transport alumni of all ages from various locations on campus. Note: a valid driver’s license is required.

More than 150 events are carried out over Reunion Weekend. These include lectures by distinguished alumni, faculty and staff, concerts, campus and museum tours, receptions, meals and children’s activities. Program and Event Staff help these events run smoothly.

Is taking a turn as the Polar Bear on your bucket list? This is your opportunity!

Each returning Reunion Class is assigned to an on-campus Class Headquarters and are paired with Student Ambassadors who attend class specific receptions, meals, and events.  RSAs assist in transitioning alumni from event to event and communicate class needs with Dispatch and Alumni Relations staff.

The Reunion Welcome Center is the first stop for all alumni when they arrive on campus. Students help with check-in, directions, and FAQ.
